MY PHILOSOPHY OF QUALITY CARE:
I will strive to provide a safe, comfortable, stimulating, fun, educational environment
in my home with a semi-structured day plan. Activities will include free playtime, structured playtime, large motor skill
playtime, small motor skills activities, story time and theater activities, arts and crafts, music and dance activities, nature
and ecology awareness, nutrition, cultural activities, and other educational yet fun activities. I will also provide nutritious
meals and snacks, and encourage good personal hygiene skills and manners. Through a mixture of guided and undirected creative
play, children in my care will have the opportunity to learn about color, shapes, textures, numbers, letters, animals,
seasons, feelings, senses, and nutrition, personal hygiene, manners, basic science and math concepts, and creative concepts
such as “pretend” play, art, music, drama, and dance. These may sound like lofty goals for toddlers and preschoolers, but
children can learn all of these things and more through creative play. I do not believe in pushing any child to learn at an
accelerated rate, and will not make a child feel pressured to achieve any developmental milestones. By providing the
right kind of fun safe environment, I believe that children will learn at their own appropriate pace.
Deposit & Payment Information
DEPOSIT - NON REFUNDABLE $75.00 for the first week of care. Deposit is due at time of admission and signing the contract, to hold your child’s spot. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
PAYMENT AND LATE FEES Tuition is due in advance for each week, due on the Friday. I require advance payment
for two reasons: 1) To protect myself from families who choose to quit without
notice and not pay for childcare already given. 2) To buy supplies needed
for the daycare for the following week (i.e. food and other daycare-related expenses that are needed upfront). A
late fee of $20.00/day will be assessed for tuition not received by 5:30 p.m. each pay date. If tuition is not received by
the following day at 5:30 PM, your child will be subject to termination from the program until the outstanding balance is
paid in full. Please keep in mind that this is part of our family income…
You wouldn't keep your job if you weren't paid on time, would you? Payment
may be made by cash (for which a receipt will be given). Payment is due and expected for all days that Busy Bees DayCare is
open and that you have contracted for. IT IS A FLAT $75.00 A WEEK, EVEN IF YOUR
CHILD IS OUT FOR ANY REASON AT ALL. NO DISCOUNTS FOR MISSED DAYS. FLAT RATE OF $75.00 RATHER YOUR CHILD IS HERE 1 DAY OR 5
DAYS. Please understand that you will pay $75.00 the day you sign the contract
and on that Friday $75.00 will be due. I require advance payment as stated above for those two reasons listed above.
